Gutter Cleaning and Moss removal
Gutter Cleaning
Gutter are one of those yearly projects that can be time consuming and dangerous. The leading cause of accidents homeowners face are projects that involve a ladder. This can be avoided with one simple call to Perfect Pressure. We start by emptying all the debris in your gutters and then going back over them with a leaf blower to remove all of the shingle granules that couldn’t be removed by hand. Lastly, we wipe down the outside of your gutters leaving them brighter then before.
Moss Removal
Moss is a major problem when talking about your roof and how often shingles will need to be replaced. Allowing moss to grow can lead to replacement of your shingles sooner and could even cause your roof to rot. Rot can lead to leaks in your roof. Having your roof treated for moss yearly not only extents the life of the roof but saves you money. To remove moss effectively we get on the roof with a soft bristle brush to remove all the large pieces of moss. Then we use a powder, it is activated by the rain and will wash down and cover your roof killing the remaining moss and leaving a protective coat for up to 6 months.
Roof Cleaning
Cleaning a roof can be dangerous and lead to falls or damage to your roof if you are not careful. Most homeowners are not insured if they fall off their own roof, this is just one reason why we recommend hiring a professional. The typical roof cleaning can cost $200-$300 but a medical bill will be far more expensive. Roof cleaning is usually required when you have a lot of trees around your house that leave pine needles or leaves on the roof. When we do roof cleanings our first job is to blow or sweep any debris from the roof into the gutters or below. Then we go around and clean out all gutters and wipe down the outside. Lastly, before we get off the roof we treat the entire roof with moss remover. Once your roof has been taken care of we go around your property to blow off any leaves or other debris that was blown off to make sure all walk ways, driveways, decks and patios are free of slip hazards.
